Today was day 1 of 3 of the find your feet event at Fenton Sixth Form. It was so scary standing outside waiting to go in. When we finally got in there were signs everywhere telling you where your form teacher was. My form is LS06. There is only me and this other lad in that group.
We got shown around the college. That place is huge. Then it was time for the first lesson. I didnt have any lesson to go to though. I had to wait in a long queue of people, to pick my lesson. When I finally got to the front of the queue I picked Phycology.
One of the VIPs took me to my Phycology room. Then I had an hour of that.
After Phycology it was break time. Our break time was half an hour long. 15 minutes longer than at school. Then I had to find my way to Biology in B65. I finally found it and got seated. We had to introduce ourselves to the people around us. Then we all had to move around and talk to other people. Stacey came and sat on my table. We then had to write on these little whiteboard things and Stacey flicked her pen and the lid went into the sink and down the plug hole. It was really funny. We then did a practical where we had to look at different cells through a microscope.
When Biology had finished it was then time for dinner time. Dinner time is 1 hour and 15 minutes. I can see why they have that long now. The dinner queue was massive. Half an hour it took to get some dinner. I had curly fries and a bottle of water.
Then when dinner time had finished we had to make our way back to our form room. Claire our form tutor and Health and Social Care tutor spoke to us about college and what it is like.
The last lesson of the day was Health and Social Care. We had a different teacher this time, I dont like her. She talks in a boring manor.
It was then 3:30 which could only mean one thing. Home time.
I walked down to the bus stop with Steff. I thought the buses at school were packed. Everyone was pushing to get on the bus. Luckily I was the last one the bus driver let on.
That was my day at college.
